Eddie Nketiah’s brace has given Arsenal a life-line in their attempts to resurrect their pursuit of Champions League qualification, by inspiring their win in a six-goal thriller in the latest London derby.
The home side then grabbed a strange goal themselves only minutes later when the recently-prolific Timo Werner fired a deflected effort that wrong-footed Arsenal's keeper.
Emile Smith-Rowe retook the lead for Arsenal just before the half-hour mark, when he coolly slotted a low shot from the edge of the box into the far corner.

Yet again, the lead didn't last long. Mason Mount fizzed an inviting cross deep into Arsenal's box and captain Cesar Azpilicueta finished expertly from close range.
Arsenal took the lead for a third time as Nketiah capitalised on pinball-like deflections at the heart of Chelsea's defence, and poked the loose ball past Edouard Mendy.
Bukayo Saka sealed the much-needed win in stoppage time with a composed penalty that sent Mendy the wrong way.
